What the evidence supports
Heat exposure produces acute vascular changes; evidence for sustained improvements is not uniform.
Infrared sauna may support post-exercise recovery and reduce perceived muscle soreness; the evidence comes from small studies.
Weight lost immediately after a session is primarily water.
Large observational studies compared frequent with weekly use of traditional sauna, not infrared.
The large studies linking sauna use with lower cardiovascular mortality are observational and used traditional Finnish sauna: they show association, not causation, and did not test infrared. For infrared, small studies suggest it may support post-exercise recovery. Weight lost in a session is water.

Before you book
No therapy is for everyone, and saying so before you book is part of the service. This comes from our clinical protocols, not from a brochure.
Temperature and duration are adjusted to the available modality, tolerance, and evaluation. Hydration and stop criteria are explained before the session.
None of these is an automatic no: it means the evaluation happens first, and the decision is a medical one.
Uncontrolled hypotension.

Unstabilised cardiovascular disease.
Recent alcohol.
Fever or active infection.
It does not depend on who is on shift. It is what the protocol always asks for.
Confirmed prior hydration.
A maximum time set by your individual tolerance, not by the equipment's.
